WORSHIP AND CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Sunday School Superintendent

Fellowship Half-Hour, Sundays 10:30 - 11:00 AM:  Come and have some coffee, juice, pastry and good fellowship every Sunday morning right behind the Sanctuary, across from the bulletin board between the adult Sunday School classrooms. Bring a friend and introduce them to the personal warmth that is Royster's Hallmark!  But, most of all, be sure to come yourself, because without you, it's not nearly as much fun!

Nursery/Child Care
Infant/toddler care during 9:30am Sunday School and 11:00am worship. Childcare is provided for children 5 years and under during worship.

Children’s Sunday School (4-12 yrs)
The “We Believe” curriculum is currently being used in classes first grade through high school. Classes are held in the Children’s wing (upstairs).

New Covenant Class
Examines Biblical passages and their impact on our lives using a variety of resources, ranging from theological and philosophical writings to fictional stories, current events and personal anecdotes. Material is distributed for reading ahead. Discussion is earnest and respectful. (Meets in annex)

Pace Class
This adult class began in 1947 as a class for young adults who, as the years passed, have matured together. Couples and singles of all ages are welcome in the class fellowship. The class uses the “Present Word” series. Lessons delivered by capable volunteers are enhanced by old-time favorite hymns.

New Members Class
Designed to expose and explain the beliefs and history of the Presbyterian Church, this class is made available “as needed.” People new to the Presbyterian Church as well as longtime Presbyterians seeking to know more about their faith and history are welcomed and encouraged to attend. (Meets in Conference Room)

A Ministry of Wholeness
A Ministry of Wholeness each Sunday following worship service is offered in the front of the sanctuary at the foot of the pulpit.  The Ministry of Wholeness includes a ministry of prayer, laying-on of hands, and anointing.  Are you seeking God's grace to heal your body, mind, and spirit, or do you wish to pray for another?  Come and ask those ministering here to pray with you.
 

FELLOWSHIP ACTIVITIES

2nd Sunday Birthday Luncheons
Lunch following worship once a month honoring those having birthdays in that month (all members and their guests are invited)

Royster Presbyterian Women
The RPW membership is divided into “Circles” that offer women opportunities for worship, witness, service and study. Meetings are held during the second week of each month.

An Ecumenical group of adult men from several area churches that meet every other Saturday morning at 7:30 AM at Royster for breakfast and Bible study. Contact Ron Jolley at 857-7086.
