F.I.R.E Youth Group
MISSION STATEMENT
To love God and one another, to share the good news of Jesus Christ,
and to serve others as empowered by the Holy Spirit. This group will
places an emphasis on mission-oriented service, and builds a unique
brand of camaraderie developed in working together to accomplish goals.
We meet every Sunday 2:00-3:30pm. Youth from grades 6-12 are welcome
to participate in FIRE activities.
Torrie Farrell is the Youth Director at Royster Memorial Presbyterian
Church. She has experience working with youth as a counselor at Makemie
Woods, SYNOD youth council as co-director, member of youth council
for PEVA. She has also attended small group training through PEVA
and team building training at Makemie Woods. She was formerly the
Youth Director at Second Presbyterian Church, Norfolk.

Church and surrounding area
• Middle and High school will have some separated
events
What: Small group/outreach program

When: Sunday, weekends, summer trips
Why: To come together in the name of the Lord and help others
Meet every Sunday
• 2:00-3:30pm (unless otherwise announced)
• Will not meet on Holidays
• Will not meet Sundays after weekend events

• To call young people to be disciples in Jesus Christ,
• To respond to the needs and interests of young people,
• To work together, youth and adults, in partnership,
• To be connected to the whole church, community, world,
• To include and encourage all young people, reaching out
and inviting them to belong to the community of faith.
